Dr. Sandeep WaliaCosmetic and General Dentistry

Fieldgate Dental is pleased to welcome Dr. Sandeep Walia, a graduate of the University of Western Ontario as a valued member to our dental family. We are confident that he will help to raise the level of patient care at our office. He is fellow with ICOI.

Apart from cosmetic rehabilitation procedures he will be providing treatment for snoring/sleep apnea for our patients.he is member of AADSM. He will also be providing basic restorative dentistry for our patients and will be working closely with our team of inhouse specialists.

Dr. Walia graduated in 1995 from BDCH Davangere, a dental school of extremely high regard in India.

He continued to acquire further knowledge and skill from some world class institutions, at national as well as international levels, including through the New York University program for international graduates.

In November 2004, he and his wife, moved to Canada, and he was selected to attend the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry the following year in the DDS program. It was here that he came under the leadership of his esteemed teacher and mentor, Dr. H. S. Sandhu and other honorable faculty members, and was awarded the chair award in periodontics in 2008.

Dr. Sandeep is an avid golf player, and in his quiet moments he loves to watch movies. His wife is also a dental graduate from India and is a dental hygienist and is managing the offices.They live in Oakville along with his mother and their 3 kids, two beautiful daughters, Riya and Pearl and son shaurya.More About Dr’s Walia

Dr. Farzin Mirzaeeyan Asso.Dentist (Wisdom Teeth Extns & Implants)

Dr. Farzin Mirzaeeyan was born in Iran and moved with his parents to Dubai at a very young age. He did all his schooling in Dubai. He pursued his higher education in India and obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery on 2001. After a year of Internship due to his passion in Surgery he obtained his Master of Dental Surgery in the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in the top ranked college in India by 2004.

He later obtained his prestigious fellow and membership in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery from Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, UK.

He has attended many postdoctoral courses and conferences in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Implantology during his career in many countries.

His working experience includes working almost 10 years for the Red Crescent society hospital in Dubai, where he was certified Specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Implantology. He believes in giving back to community especially the needy.

On 2016 he decided to migrate to Canada with his family and call it his new home. He obtained his License as a general dentist from Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, in 2018.

He is qualified in IV Parenteral Moderate sedation as well in Oral and Nitrous oxide sedation from the University of Toronto. He has completed Implant Residency program, Medical Emergencies in Dental Office and Sinus lift Surgery for Implant Dentistry from University of Toronto.

His goal in life is never to stop updating his knowledge.

He loves to spend time with his family and his favorite hobby is swimming.

BhavnaOffice Manager

Bhavna is a registered Dental Hygienist having received her degree from APLUS Dental Hygiene school. She was a dentist back home therefore has a great skill set to offer. She also plays a crucial role in office duties such as managing the front desk and being patient treatment co-ordinator. Apart from the dental profession, she enjoys Bootcamp workouts, cooking, listening to music and spending time with her family.

Merilyn office facilitator/receptionist

Solely driven to helping everyone, Merilyn started her carrier as a Bachelor of Dental Surgeon 8 years ago from India and continued as a Certified Dental Assistant and treatment coordinator/receptionist with West Metro Dental 4 years ago and at Fieldgate dental office. She continues to help and excel in her passion for dentistry. Her compassion and dedication has inspired all of us.

Riya Office Facilitator/Marketing co-ordinator

Riya is pursuing the DMD program at Nova Southeastern University School of Dental Medicine in Fort Laudradale, Florida. She loves the dental profession and has worked as a receptionist alongside shadowing multiple dentists/ specialists as well. Her strengths include communication, organization and online marketing. Aside from part time office-related work, Riya enjoys working out, catching up with friends and spending quality time with her family.

Sheema Dental Assistant

Sheema is a level 2 dental assistant who received her certification at the National Health Academy, Toronto. She has been part of the West Metro dental team for over 3 years and you can’t ignore her beautiful smile as soon you enter into our office! In addition to working as an assistant, she is also skilled at the front desk duties. Passion for dentistry is obvious being a dentist and compassion for people is what her heart is. Apart from her love for the dental profession, she also enjoys her family time, traveling, music and a lot of volunteer work for other people.

Hi I am Sabrina and have been a Registered Dental Hygienist since 2019 and joined Dr Walia’s team early 2020. I have a passion for health care and am dedicated to providing optimal patient care. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing people reach their dental health goals and on their own terms. I like to provide a warm and welcoming environment to support my patients.
